Kentaro Sakaguchi Appears Radiant at Busan Film Festival Amid Dating Rumors

Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi made his first public appearance since dating and infidelity allegations surfaced, attending the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) opening red carpet.

Despite appearing somewhat thinner, Sakaguchi greeted fans with his signature bright smile on the evening of October 17th at the Busan Cinema Center. Dressed in a black suit, he walked the red carpet alongside veteran Japanese actor Ken Watanabe, engaging with fans through waves and various heart gestures, including finger and cheek hearts.

This marks Sakaguchi's first official event following recent reports. Japanese media, including Shukan Bunshun, alleged that Sakaguchi was simultaneously dating a stylist in her 30s, with whom he allegedly cohabited for about four years, and actress Mei Nagano. While Mei Nagano's agency confirmed their relationship, reports also surfaced about the stylist warning Nagano to end the affair.

The scandal had previously led Sakaguchi to cancel a press conference for his film 'Final Piece.' However, his presence on the BIFF red carpet signaled his intention to connect with his 부산 fans, seemingly putting the controversies behind him for the moment.
