KBS2's entertainment program 'The Boss is Watching Me' featured announcer Uhm Ji-in, who garnered significant attention by introducing her husband and two children to the public.

During the broadcast on the 21st, Uhm Ji-in appeared with her family, stating, "It's the day we're coming back to Korea after a year and a half in Japan." Her appearance was particularly notable given past controversies surrounding her alleged marriage and the use of a child actor as a stand-in.

The studio audience reacted with praise for Uhm Ji-in's husband, describing him as handsome, even mentioning his resemblance to singer Yoon Jong-shin. Her husband, currently a professor in Japan, shared, "While my wife is working, I'm the one raising our two children."

Uhm Ji-in's husband majored in business administration and is reportedly capable of teaching classes in Korean, English, and Japanese. The family, having returned to Korea for the first time in two years, visited an educational consulting firm in Daechi-dong to discuss their children's career paths and aptitudes.

The episode also shed light on the family's educational concerns. The husband confessed, "Due to the language barrier, it's difficult for the children to keep up with the Korean curriculum, leading us to spend about 2 million won monthly on private education."

Their children's assessment results were revealed: their son showed a strong inclination towards science, while their daughter, Bon-a, not only speaks Korean, Japanese, and English fluently but also achieved a Level 2 in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, equivalent to a university student's level, impressing everyone. Expert Lee Byung-hoon recommended that she consider pursuing pharmacy or dentistry in Japan.

Fellow host Jun Hyun-moo shared his personal experiences with advanced learning, stating his belief that "falling behind on the current curriculum can actually cause more problems," a sentiment that resonated with viewers. In a parent assessment at the end of the show, Uhm Ji-in was described as "prone to being interfering and punitive," while her husband was evaluated as an "ideal parent," highlighting a clear contrast.

Uhm Ji-in made her debut as a KBS announcer in 2007. She is known for her versatile hosting skills and calm delivery across various programs. Her expertise in cultural and news programs has earned her considerable viewer trust.
