SEVENTEEN's S.COUPS & Mingyu Unveil 'HYPE VIBES' with Highlight Medley, Title Track '5, 4, 3' Sparks Excitement

SEVENTEEN's special unit, S.COUPS and Mingyu, have amplified anticipation for their upcoming release by unveiling a highlight medley for their first mini-album, ‘HYPE VIBES’.

The video, released on SEVENTEEN's official SNS on the 22nd, offered a first listen to snippets of all tracks, including the title song ‘5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)’. The title track notably interpolates Roy Orbison's iconic hit ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’, reinterpreting it with a fresh and upbeat disco rhythm that is sure to get listeners grooving.

Coupled with candid lyrics expressing the heart of someone falling in love, the song's plot twist – receiving a coy reply after eagerly anticipating a meeting – evokes the charm and humor of a romantic comedy film.

Beyond the title track, the album boasts a diverse range of genres. Hip-hop track ‘Fiesta’ blends heavy bass with light flute melodies, ‘Worth it’ features striking synth lines expressing passionate attraction, ‘For you’ delivers an easy-listening pop message of friendship, ‘Young again’ captures the essence of fleeting youth with a rock sound, and the explosive EDM track ‘Earth’ rounds out the collection, showcasing S.COUPS and Mingyu's expanded musical palette.
