The Nepalese Sherpa boys, Rai and Tamang, who touched viewers' hearts in 'Tae-gye-il-ju 4' (literally meaning 'Journey to the World Week 4'), are set to experience their dream trip to Korea through MBC Every1's 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?' (abbreviated as 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?').

In the episode airing on the 25th, the story of these young boys, who used to carry loads heavier than themselves for a living, will unfold. Following the conclusion of 'Tae-gye-il-ju 4', numerous requests poured in from viewers urging their invitation to the show. In response, the production team launched a 'top-secret invitation project' to make the boys' Korean adventure a reality.

The crew went beyond simply inviting them, traveling to Nepal to check on their well-being and securing a reliable benefactor to ensure a smooth journey. Currently, the boys are staying in the capital city, Kathmandu, rather than the high-altitude regions of 3,000m, a choice necessitated by the reduced work opportunities during Nepal's off-peak tourist season in August.

From the excitement of getting their passports to landing on Korean soil, Rai and Tamang have spent their preparation time with smiles. Their very first trip to Korea, which even made MC Kim Jun-hyun beam with a 'fatherly smile,' will be revealed on 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?' this Thursday at 8:30 PM.

Rai and Tamang live their lives as Sherpas, navigating the rugged terrains of the Himalayas. Their resilient spirits and bright smiles, even amidst challenging conditions, left a profound impression on the audience. This visit to Korea is anticipated to create unforgettable memories and inspire new dreams for these young boys.
