K-pop superstar Kim Jae-joong recently opened up about the wedding advice he receives from his parents on the web variety show 'Go So-young's Pubstaurant'. When host Go So-young asked if his parents ever pressure him to get married, especially during holidays, Jae-joong responded candidly.

"If I'm not working and have free time, I feel like more of an unfilial son," he admitted. "Having a family isn't something that just happens when I want it to."

Go So-young, who married at 39 and playfully called herself an "icon of late-stage pregnancy," shared her own perspective. "We live in a 100-year lifespan era, so I wanted to enjoy myself as much as possible. I got married really late, at 39. But now, I wish I had waited even longer," she joked, drawing laughter from the audience.

Jae-joong then revealed a humorous exchange with his parents. "I actually brought this up with them. I said, 'Lifespans are getting longer these days, right?' And my mom and dad told me, 'How long do you think we'll live? You should get married while we're still around.'"

Go So-young expressed understanding for his parents' sentiments, adding, "I can understand that feeling too."

Korean netizens found Jae-joong's confession relatable, with many commenting on the universal pressure from parents. Some fans expressed support for his focus on his career, while others joked about how parents often have their own timelines for their children's lives.
