Miracle Twins Born: Ji So-yeon and Song Jae-hee Share Joy on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams'

In a heartwarming episode of 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny,' broadcast on the 20th, actress Ji So-yeon and her husband, actor Song Jae-hee, revealed the birth of their miracle twins.

The couple, who were facing their scheduled C-section, experienced a premature rupture of waters, nearly leading them to a university hospital. Their primary concern was whether the babies, born at 35 weeks, would be able to breathe on their own. As Ji So-yeon experienced contractions and severe pain, the situation quickly escalated into an emergency.

After a tense wait of over thirty minutes, the joyous news of the twins' safe arrival was announced amidst relieved prayers. Song Jae-hee was visibly emotional, shedding tears outside the operating room. Upon meeting their newborn twins, a boy named Do-ha and a girl named Re-ha, he couldn't hold back his emotions, expressing his gratitude to Ji So-yeon for her ordeal. Ji So-yeon, too, was moved to tears by the beauty of her children.

The twins, named Eum-i and Bareum-i, were revealed for the first time, prompting congratulations and exclamations of 'a miracle' from the show's panelists.

Recalling their journey, Song Jae-hee shared, "We had trouble conceiving, and a doctor told us our chances of having a child were only 1%. But on that day, not only did we have twins, but we were blessed with three children in total. We are so grateful." Ji So-yeon and Song Jae-hee, married in 2017, welcomed their first daughter, Ha-el, last year. They later conceived the twins through in-vitro fertilization.
