K-Pop veteran Shin-ji of the group Koyote has opened up about the unexpected circumstances surrounding her recent marriage announcement.

In a new YouTube video on the channel 'A-Class Jang Young-ran', Shin-ji revealed that her marriage announcement wasn't something she initiated. "I didn't announce my marriage, I was subjected to it," she stated. "There was no dating rumor, and on our wedding photoshoot day, a report came out saying we were shooting."

When questioned by host Jang Young-ran about how the news leaked, Shin-ji admitted her confusion. "I don't know. After the dating rumor article broke while we were doing the wedding shoot, my expression hardened. The dress was so beautiful, but I couldn't pull it off. I started suspecting someone among us was the culprit."

Shin-ji confessed she still doesn't know who leaked the information. "I wanted to announce it myself, but I ended up in a position where I felt sorry towards the fans," she shared.

Shin-ji announced her marriage to the 7-years-younger singer Moon-won on August 7th. Following this, amidst the Koyote and Moon-won's family meeting video, controversy arose regarding Moon-won being a divorcee, leading to various rumors. Shin-ji's side has since officially clarified these rumors.

Korean netizens expressed sympathy for Shin-ji, with many commenting, "It must have been so stressful to have news like that drop while you were supposed to be happy." Others were supportive, saying, "We trust Shin-ji and support her decision!"
