Yoon Jung-soo Weds Won Jin-seo, 'Virtual Husband' Kim Sook's True Friendship Shines Through as Officiant

Comedian Yoon Jung-soo has tied the knot with broadcaster Won Jin-seo (formerly Won Ja-hyun), formerly known as a reporter, and is receiving a flood of congratulations.

Ahead of the wedding, Yoon Jung-soo shared his marriage news with close friends Bae Ki-sung and Im Hyung-joon, announcing his wedding date for November 30th. He revealed that he contacted broadcaster Kim Sook, with whom he had a virtual marriage on a show, first.

"I contacted Sook first," Yoon Jung-soo shared, adding, "When I was with my fiancée, Sook called, and I received it after getting her permission." He also humorously recounted Kim Sook's teasing remarks, asking, "Are you getting married because someone appeared? You should be doing this for another 5 years."

However, Kim Sook expressed her disappointment at not receiving a wedding invitation. Yoon Jung-soo clarified that it hadn't been sent out yet. Kim Sook honestly confessed, "You don't have to give me one. Wouldn't it be awkward if I attended the wedding? Honestly, I think I would cry if I went." In response, Yoon Jung-soo also showed their deep friendship by saying, "You have to come. If Sook cries, I think I will cry too."

On the wedding day itself, Nam Chang-hee and Kim Sook jointly served as officiants for Yoon Jung-soo and Won Jin-seo's ceremony. Kim Sook had previously vowed to attend the wedding one way or another, and by taking on the role of officiant, she proved her genuine friendship extending beyond their 'virtual couple' days.

Singer KCM delivered a congratulatory song, celebrating the couple's new beginning. Yoon Jung-soo also mentioned humorous incidents where older people still mistake him and Won Jin-seo as a couple due to their past virtual marriage experience on a variety show.
