Actor Lee Hong-nae has delivered a compelling performance as a righteous journalist in the Netflix original series ‘Honey Sweetness’ (애마).

The series, released on the 22nd of last month, delves into the realities hidden behind the glittering spotlight of the 1980s Korean erotic film industry, focusing on the struggles of top star Hee-ran (played by Lee Hanee) and rookie actress Joo-ae (played by Bang Hyo-rin).

Lee Hong-nae portrays Reporter Yang, a character he confidently describes as the 'bravest embodiment of good.' Reporter Yang offers his business card with a reassuring smile, promising help and relentlessly pursuing justice against any threat.

His actions, which directly confront and overcome the dark realities veiled by the glamour, powerfully amplify the series' core message. As the story progresses, Lee Hong-nae's presence becomes increasingly significant, culminating in a cathartic climax that resonates with viewers.
