Concerns are mounting for pop icon Britney Spears, 43, as reports surface about her current living situation and mental state. Entertainment outlet Page Six reported on May 8 (local time) that Spears is residing in a "messy mansion" where dog waste has been left uncleaned, leading friends and fans to express deep worry.

According to the report, Spears is reportedly experiencing another 'episode,' a situation friends and family have witnessed repeatedly over the years. However, they are reportedly observing without intervention this time. A source close to the family stated, "Britney is in a very bad place right now, and everyone is worried about her future."

The most immediate concern stems from her living environment. An anonymous insider told the outlet, "The house is a mess, and there's dog waste that hasn't been cleaned up. The housekeeper doesn't come every day, and she's not functioning like a normal adult."

This issue first gained public attention last month when Spears posted a video on social media from her Thousand Oaks, California home. In the clip, she danced and sang along to Rihanna's 'Unfaithful' and Prince's 'Kiss' while wearing a crop top, hot pants, and knee-high boots. What caught fans' attention were the scattered items in the background and the visible dog waste on the floor.

While comments were disabled on the post, reactions on X (formerly Twitter) included worries like "What happened to Britney?" and "Is the pet safe?"

Since regaining her freedom from a 13-year conservatorship in 2021, Spears has been active on social media. However, her occasional posts, including nude photos and videos of her dancing with knives, have repeatedly sparked controversy.

Page Six reached out to Spears' representatives for comment but had not received a response at the time of reporting.

She rose to global fame as a teen pop icon in the late 1990s and early 2000s, releasing hit songs like 'Baby One More Time' and 'Oops!... I Did It Again.' After a lengthy 13-year conservatorship that began in 2008, she was declared free in 2021, reclaiming control of her personal and financial affairs.
