Seo Ji-soo, formerly of the girl group Lovelyz, has been cast in the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Let's Go to the Moon'.

The drama depicts the hyper-realistic survival story of three women from a low-income background who dive into cryptocurrency investment, struggling to survive on their salaries alone. It promises a blend of comedic chaos and relatable empathy for viewers.

In the series, Seo Ji-soo will portray Park Ji-won, an employee in the marketing team at Marron Confectionery. Park Ji-won is a quintessential 'freeloader character,' known for using her wits to avoid difficult tasks and being passive about team responsibilities, merely going with the flow. She is expected to leave a memorable impression on viewers by displaying the characteristics of a sly colleague, showing a subtly annoying attitude towards Jung Da-hae (played by Lee Sun-bin), who joined the company through a different recruitment path.

Having showcased her acting prowess across dramas and films, Seo Ji-soo is expanding her unique acting color. Her role in this project as a distinctive office character is anticipated to inject new vitality into the drama and highlight her fresh charm. 'Let's Go to the Moon' is set to premiere on the 19th at 9:50 PM.

Seo Ji-soo debuted with the group Lovelyz in 2014 and has consistently pursued acting projects alongside her group activities. She has previously expanded her acting range through roles in the drama 'Amanza' and the short film '72 Seconds'.
