Song Joong-ki Shares Cozy Life as a Father of Two in Yongsan, Admits to Waiting to Eat Korean Food

Actor Song Joong-ki, now a proud father of two, offered fans a glimpse into his down-to-earth daily life in Yongsan, Seoul.

In a YouTube video released on the channel 'Narae's Table' on the 10th, Song was seen enjoying a home-cooked meal prepared by comedian Park Na-rae. He shared his excitement, stating, "This is my first Korean meal in months because I've been overseas. I'm really looking forward to it."

When Park playfully asked if he felt burdened by the meal, Song revealed a surprising detail: "Actually, I've been deliberately holding off on eating Korean food for the past week since arriving back in Korea, just so I could enjoy this meal even more." This confession elicited laughter from Park and viewers alike.

Discovering they are the same age and live in the same Yongsan neighborhood, Song mentioned, "I sometimes pass by Narae's house when I go for walks." Park expressed astonishment, "Really? I walk around often, how have we never crossed paths?" Song explained he usually walks in the mornings, while Park often ventures out late at night, leading to their missed encounters.

Song Joong-ki married British actress Katy Louise Saunders in January 2023 and welcomed their first son in June of the same year. The couple later welcomed their second child, a daughter, in November of last year. Last June, they were spotted strolling with a stroller in their neighborhood, drawing considerable attention.

Previously, actor Yoo Yeon-seok also shared an anecdote about meeting Song Joong-ki during a neighborhood walk. Yoo had recalled, "I met Joong-ki while walking in the neighborhood," to which Song humorously added, "I was wearing a training suit and hadn't even washed my hair, just a hat, but you looked so stylish, even in the morning."

Song Joong-ki debuted in 2008 with the film 'A Frozen Flower' and has since starred in numerous hit dramas such as 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Vincenzo', and 'Reborn Rich', earning widespread popularity both domestically and internationally.

He is beloved by many fans not only for his acting skills but also for his outstanding visuals and charming personality; his performances in 'A Werewolf Boy' and 'Descendants of the Sun' particularly solidified his status as a top star.

Recently, he has been continuously challenging himself as an actor, attempting new transformations in films like 'Hopeless' and 'My Name Is Loh Kiwan'.
