Former volleyball star Kim Yo-han has opened up about the unique challenges his towering height of nearly 2 meters presents.

Appearing on TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Nae Meotdaero - Gwa Molip Club' on the 17th, Kim, who is active as a commentator and runs a volleyball clinic post-retirement, discussed his daily life.

His morning routine, starting early, involves an extensive two-hour session of stretching and weight training. The necessity for such a lengthy start to his day stems from a rather unexpected source: his bed.

Kim explained that due to his significant height, his feet often hang off the end of his bed while he sleeps. This results in poor circulation and increased fatigue, as his feet are left unsupported in mid-air.

"When I sleep, my feet go past the edge of the bed, and blood pools there. That's why I feel more tired," he shared, adding that starting his day with stretching makes a noticeable difference in his energy levels. He was even shown using a foam roller on his legs, letting out pained cries.

Kim Yo-han was a prominent figure in South Korean men's volleyball, representing the national team for nearly a decade. His imposing presence on the court and skillful play earned him a large fanbase. Since retiring from professional sports, he has successfully transitioned into broadcasting, becoming a popular television personality.
