The agency representing the band QWER has announced its firm stance on taking legal action against malicious online content.

On the 18th, both 3Y Corporation and Prismfilter released a statement through QWER's official fan cafe, detailing the progress of legal measures against defamatory posts. The agencies revealed that they have filed criminal complaints for a total of 115 malicious posts across three separate instances in April and June of this year.

These complaints address offenses such as insult, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (Indecency via Communication Media), and violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (Editing/Distribution of Illegal Video Material). The cases were transferred to respective local police stations in July and are currently undergoing prosecution and sentencing procedures, with some rulings already resulting in convictions and fines.

The agency emphasized their commitment to protecting their artists, stating that there will be no settlements or leniency, and they will pursue legal responsibility without exception for any malicious and illegal posts targeting QWER.

In related news, QWER is set to embark on their first world tour, 'ROCKATION,' from October 3rd to 5th at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul.

QWER is a four-member girl band formed using the IP of the 'Monster Collecting RPG' game 'World Flipper.' The members are Chodan (guitar/vocals), Kim Sena (bass), IRing (drums), and Magenta (keyboard). They officially debuted on October 18, 2023, with their single 'Harmony Quest.'
