Nam Bo-ra Reveals Unique Travel Strategies for Her 13 Siblings: 'We Book Corporate Retreats!'
Actress Nam Bo-ra recently shared the unique challenges and solutions involved in planning family trips for her large brood of 13 siblings.
During an appearance on MBN's 'Dongchimi,' the star opened up about the common questions she receives regarding her family structure. "People often ask if my mother is the only one, or if I have twins," she explained, clarifying that she has 12 younger siblings, all from the same mother.
When asked about the age gap between the eldest and youngest, Nam Bo-ra stated, "There's a 21-year age difference. I am 20 years older than the youngest." She also humorously noted how she keeps track, "My university entrance year is the same as the year my youngest sibling was born, so I use that to calculate ages."
The logistics of travel for such a large family also present significant hurdles. "Regular family pensions usually can't accommodate our entire group, even with extra person fees," Nam Bo-ra confessed. To overcome this, she revealed their unconventional approach: "Instead of looking for family-friendly places, we search for 'corporate retreat pensions' because they are often large enough and the price difference isn't significant when booking two properties."
Nam Bo-ra, born in 1989, is the eldest daughter in a family of 13 siblings. She debuted in 2004 with the MBC sitcom 'Nonstop 5' and has since appeared in numerous dramas and films. In addition to her acting career, she actively engages with fans through her personal YouTube channel.
