Actor Jinyoung shared his dedication to embodying the role of a single father in the upcoming Genie TV original drama 'The Good Woman, Bu-semi'.

At the production presentation held on the 22nd, Jinyoung discussed his character, Jeon Dong-min, a single dad who runs a strawberry farm and raises his son. He plays a pivotal role in being wary of the perfectly qualified new teacher, Bu-semi.

Jinyoung admitted, "Since I haven't experienced fatherhood, it was difficult to imagine paternal love. I recalled my father's image from my childhood a lot, and also drew inspiration from the director's very kind demeanor."

He also praised the young actor playing his son, saying, "The child actor playing my son is incredibly talented. Watching his performance helped me concentrate better and stay grounded. I learned so much from him."

Expressing his gratitude, he added, "The director and fellow actors were incredibly supportive, making the set feel very comfortable. It felt like going to play, it was that pleasant and easy."

'The Good Woman, Bu-semi' is a crime romance about a woman who enters into a contract marriage with a terminally ill conglomerate chairman to reset her life, navigating challenges for three months. It premieres on ENA on the 29th and will be available on Genie TV and TVING.

Jinyoung, formerly a member of the K-pop group GOT7, has successfully transitioned into acting, showcasing his versatility. His previous notable roles include those in the films 'Dance Together' and 'The Most Ordinary Romance,' as well as the drama 'When My Love Blooms.' His dedication to immersing himself in diverse characters has earned him critical acclaim.
