Fly to the Sky's Brian Reveals He Was Rejected by S.E.S.'s Bada After Confessing

Brian Joo, a member of the legendary K-pop duo Fly to the Sky, has hilariously revealed that he was once rejected by Bada Choi, a member of the iconic girl group S.E.S., after confessing his feelings.

In a YouTube video uploaded on the 16th to his channel 'The Brian', titled "You'll Always Meet Idols Here!! The Pork Belly Restaurant 1st Generation Idols Had to Visit (Bada, Fly to the Sky, SMent)", Brian revisited a favorite restaurant with his close friend Bada.

"Many 1st generation idol singers used to have company dinners here," Brian explained as they settled in. "It's a great place to bring my foreign friends for a meal and some drinks."

Bada then asked, "Haven't we been here together before?" To which Brian replied, "I came with old SM managers, and with my groupmate Hwanhee a couple of times. Whenever I came at night, the DJ DOC guys were always here. But we've never come together."

Surprised, Bada exclaimed, "We haven't been together? Ah, I must have kept my distance from you back then. I came with my close friends, but after you confessed, would I really have dinner with you alone?" she dropped the bombshell, causing laughter.

Brian jokingly lamented, "I wanted to erase it from my memory. Because isn't that how people are? When you're abandoned..." recalling the 'pain' of rejection, which elicited more laughter. Bada burst out laughing, saying, "Abandoned what? Ah, that's funny." Brian elaborated, "As soon as I heard, 'I can't accept you'..." sharing his past hurt. Bada then added, "When you were in front of me, you kept looking at me so much that you probably could barely eat back then." Brian quickly changed the subject, saying, "Our pork belly, two servings..." adding to the humor.
