SISTAR's Soyou Reveals Frustration Over Designer Jewelry No Longer Fitting After Dramatic Weight Loss

Former SISTAR member and singer Soyou has opened up about an unexpected downside to her significant weight loss: her designer jewelry no longer fits.

On May 30th, Soyou shared a video on her personal YouTube channel, 'Soyougi,' titled 'Why Did I Buy This..? Soyou's Collection Review.' In the video, she showcased various luxury and vintage items she had purchased over the years.

During the segment, Soyou confessed, "The frustrating thing about losing weight is that things don't fit anymore." Soyou recently garnered attention for her dramatic appearance change after successfully losing approximately 10kg (22 lbs), which even sparked rumors of plastic surgery. At the time, she debunked the speculation by revealing her bare face, explaining it was due to makeup.

Expressing her dismay, Soyou pointed to a ring, saying, "This was my favorite ring, but now it fits on my fourth finger because I've lost weight." She then introduced several luxury rings bought during trips to Europe, lamenting, "I've lost so much weight that they're even big on my thumbs. I can't wear anything these days." She further added, "When I was tanned, I bought gold because it suited my skin better than silver, but this pinky ring now only fits if I force it onto my fourth finger because I've lost so much weight," expressing her sadness over not being able to wear her statement accessories.

Regarding her luxury shopping habits, Soyou shared, "Personally, before my month-long trips, I used to buy myself a gift once a year. Now, I just don't buy them and go on trips instead. I usually only buy muted colors, so I only get bright ones occasionally."
