Acclaimed actress Lee Young-ae has opened up about the reasons behind her departure from a talk show after its very first broadcast.

During an appearance on JTBC's 'Please Take Care of the Refrigerator,' where actor Kim Young-kwang discussed his introverted personality, Lee Young-ae shared that she relates to his shyness. She then recalled her own past experience of leaving an entertainment program prematurely.

Lee Young-ae had previously confessed on the YouTube channel 'PDC by PDC' in May that she was the MC for an SBS pilot talk show which was canceled after just one episode. Reflecting on that time, she mentioned, "It was around the age of thirty when my show 'Lee Young-ae's Day' was gaining attention. It was a talk show with a unique concept where I had to engage in role-playing with guests. As the host, I had to play a specific role, but my personality was much shyer back then. Because of that, the program ended after just one episode. Everything was over," she lamented.

When asked about the possibility of hosting another talk show, Lee firmly stated, "I have no intention of hosting a talk show again. Although I've received several offers recently, I don't think hosting talk shows is for me," she concluded.

Lee Young-ae debuted as a CF model in 1990 and expanded her career into acting.

She rose to stardom with dramas like 'Deok-yi' in 2000 and 'Sangdo' in 2001, gaining immense popularity with the 2005 film 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.'

Lee Young-ae married Korean-American businessman Jung Ho-young in 2009 and they have one son and one daughter.
