Kian84 Reunites with Former Employees for a 'Workshop' Trip, Shares Honest Feelings and BTS Jin Encounter
Webtoon artist and television personality Kian84 embarked on a special 'workshop' trip to celebrate the entrepreneurial ventures of his former employees. In a YouTube video uploaded on the 6th titled 'Former Employees' Workshop,' Kian84 traveled to Busan with Park Song-eun and Bong Ji-eun, who started their own businesses after leaving his company. He proposed the unique 'workshop' concept over a simple trip, stating, "Just traveling is boring. Most people say goodbye after leaving, but we're even having a workshop like this."
Arriving at a restaurant after a hike, the trio naturally shared updates on their recent projects. Kian84 humorously teased them about their work ethic, saying, "Why didn't you work like this when you were at the company?" The former employees, laughing, replied, "You always say that." Kian84 further quipped, "You suddenly become good at work right after quitting!" drawing more laughter.
Amidst the jokes, Kian84 expressed his sincere regrets. He confessed, "If I had a businessman's mindset, I would have placed you all strategically like a soccer coach and assigned tasks, but I can't do that," adding, "I regret that all I can do now is pay you appearance fees and buy you meals."
Kian84 also recalled a memorable moment with BTS member Jin. "There was a moment I found really cool," he shared. "When Jin visited the office to draw, I thought, 'Is our company a place BTS visits?'" He praised his former employees' composure during the visit, saying, "You all were cool too. You didn't make a fuss, you just said, 'Please come in,' 'Would you like some paint?'" to which the employees responded with laughter, denying they acted that way.
Kian84, born in 1984, is the stage name of Kim Doo-kwang. He gained immense popularity through webtoons like 'Fashion King' and 'Bokhak King' and is currently active in various entertainment shows, including MBC's 'I Live Alone.'
