MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'Route to the Moon' has heightened anticipation by releasing character posters that encapsulate the desires of its lead cast ahead of its premiere on the 19th.

'Route to the Moon,' a hyper-realistic survival drama, chronicles the journey of three women from underprivileged backgrounds who dive into cryptocurrency investment as a means to survive in a world where salaries alone are insufficient. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Jang Ryu-jin and produced by Bon Factory, known for hits like 'Lovely Runner' and the 'Work Later, Drink Now' series, the drama has already garnered significant attention.

The newly released posters showcase the distinct 'desires' of the four central characters: Jung Da-hae (Lee Sun-bin), Kang Eun-sang (Ra Mi-ran), Kim Ji-song (Jo Aram), and Dr. Ham (Kim Young-dae). Their unique visuals and impactful taglines are expected to draw viewers deeper into the narrative.

Jung Da-hae is depicted reaching for falling money, her hopeful expression paired with the poignant tagline, "Is it a crime to want to live a little better?" Da-hae, who faces constant setbacks but dreams of a brighter tomorrow, is expected to resonate with audiences through her struggles. Her journey into the world of crypto, fueled by ordinary yet earnest hopes, promises a compelling story.

Kang Eun-sang, donning a train conductor's hat, commands attention. She is the one who leads Da-hae and Ji-song, individuals holding more than just collegial meaning for her, onto the 'crypto train.' Holding bundles of cash with a satisfied smile, her tagline, "Is it a crime to want to make some money?" sharpens her character's objective and sparks curiosity about her hidden motivations.

Kim Ji-song, a YOLO advocate, is seen with shopping bags filled with new items instead of cash. Her finger adorned with sparkling rings hints at her lavish spending habits, drawing a chuckle. The tagline "Is it a crime to want pretty things?" combined with her bright smile perfectly highlights Ji-song's charming personality. Viewers are eager to see how her life, previously focused on enjoying the present, will change after joining Da-hae and Eun-sang on their crypto venture.

In contrast, Dr. Ham exudes a distinct aura. Posed with a guitar on the train, the word 'romance' perfectly suits him. Behind him, a large moon shines gently instead of falling money. His tagline, "Is it a crime to want to dream?" intriguingly shifts the focus to his aspirations, making audiences wonder what he cherishes more than money.

'Route to the Moon' is set to premiere on MBC on the 19th at 9:50 PM KST.

Lee Sun-bin debuted in 2016 with the drama 'Madame Antoine' and has since garnered attention as a rising actress through stable performances in various projects such as 'The Uncanny Counter' and the 'Work Later, Drink Now' series. She recently gained significant popularity for her role in Season 1 of the drama 'Gyeongseong Creature.' With her diverse charms, she continues to be active across screens and television.
