MAMAMOO's Solar Embarks on Acting Career with Film Debut in 'The Ghost Market'

Solar, a member of the popular K-pop group MAMAMOO, is set to make her silver screen debut in the upcoming horror film 'The Ghost Market,' scheduled for release on the 17th.

The movie, set in a supernatural marketplace where spirits are traded, tells a chilling tale of individuals seeking what they lack. Solar will portray Mi-yeon, a character who travels to a rural village aspiring to become a renowned writer and becomes entangled in mysterious events.

Having previously impressed audiences with her acting prowess in musicals such as 'Mata Hari' and 'Notre Dame de Paris,' expectations are high for Solar's cinematic performance. Beyond her acting endeavors, she is also preparing for her solo concert 'Solaris' on October 11-12 at Yonsei University's Centennial Hall in Seoul.
