Im Yoon-ah Reveals Chemistry with Lee Chae-min in 'King's Chef'

Singer and actress Im Yoon-ah has shared behind-the-scenes stories from the drama 'King's Chef,' discussing her on-screen chemistry with co-star Lee Chae-min.

Appearing on the tvN entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block' on the 10th, Im Yoon-ah expressed her excitement about working with the director and her affection for the project 'King's Chef.' She mentioned reading the web novel beforehand, indicating her involvement from the early stages of development.

Im Yoon-ah, who personally handled about 95% of the cooking scenes in the drama, revealed that she attended culinary school for three months after being cast to hone her skills. She emphasized the importance of cooking as a central element of the story, requiring her to meticulously prepare and memorize scenes as if taking a memory test for her acting.

Furthermore, Im Yoon-ah praised her co-star Lee Chae-min, describing him as a 'very upright young man.' She noted that despite a short preparation period, he fully embodied the character, making her feel as though he was 'Lee Heon himself,' hinting at their positive on-screen dynamic.
