Sean Touched by Park Bo-gum Fan's ₩19.45 Million Donation, Praises 'Wonderful Actor, Wonderful Fan'

Singer and philanthropist Sean has expressed his heartfelt gratitude for a significant donation made by a fan of actor Park Bo-gum.

On the 12th, Sean shared on his social media account a message he received, stating, "Republic of Korea, everything will be alright!" He revealed that on July 14th, he was contacted by a fan who wished to donate 19.45 million KRW to the '815 Run' event.

The fan explained that they have always held deep appreciation for independence activists and, inspired by Park Bo-gum's participation in building homes for the descendants of independence heroes, had diligently saved money. Without revealing their identity, the fan contributed the substantial sum to Habitat for Humanity to aid in constructing homes for the descendants of independence patriots. Sean repeatedly emphasized his thanks for the "very meaningful number and large donation."

Sean also extended his thanks to Park Bo-gum, sending a message filled with affection: "Bo-gum, thank you for your kind heart and for joining the 815 Run! I'll ask you to be a pacer again next year!" Accompanying photos showed Sean and Park Bo-gum posing warmly together, as well as Park Bo-gum smiling brightly against the backdrop of Singapore's Marina Bay, adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Sean has raised a total of 2.1 billion KRW through the '815 Run' campaign, which began in 2020. This year, he garnered significant attention by challenging himself to complete seven marathons to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Sean debuted in 1997 as part of the hip-hop duo Jinusean, quickly gaining recognition. Beyond his acting and variety show appearances, he is renowned for his continuous philanthropic efforts. He married actress Jung Hye-young in 2004, and they have four children.
