BTS member Suga, under his solo alias Agust D, has added another music video to his collection of 100 million views. The music video for 'Haegeum', the title track from his 2023 solo album 'D-Day', surpassed 100 million views on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel on May 14th.

This achievement marks Suga's third music video as Agust D to reach this milestone, following the title tracks 'Agust D' from his first mixtape and 'Daechwita' from 'D-2'.

'Haegeum' is a hip-hop track that incorporates the unique sound of the traditional Korean instrument, the *haegum*. The song plays on the double meaning of 'haegum' – referring to both the instrument and the act of lifting prohibitions – to convey a message of freedom.

The music video itself is noted for its noir-film aesthetic, compelling narrative, and suspenseful elements, leaving a strong impression on viewers with the confrontation between the characters 'Being' and 'Exister' and its dramatic twist.

'D-Day' serves as the final installment in Agust D's trilogy, exploring the theme of 'liberation'. Suga was heavily involved in the entire creative process, from songwriting and composition to production, showcasing his distinct musical vision. The album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release.

Beyond his work as Agust D, Suga is globally recognized for his contributions to BTS's numerous hit songs and performances. He has also demonstrated his versatility as a producer, collaborating with and producing for other artists. Suga actively uses his platform to advocate for social causes and has engaged in meaningful philanthropic activities.
