Rookie Group KickFlip Unveils 175 Concept Photos, Building Anticipation for 'My First Flip'

JYP Entertainment's rising boy group KickFlip has completed the release of all concept photos for their third mini-album, 'My First Flip,' scheduled to drop on September 22nd.

Leading up to the comeback, KickFlip sequentially unveiled a massive total of 175 teaser content pieces across their official social media channels, significantly heightening fan excitement. Notably, on September 16th at midnight, they released the final set of 35 individual teaser images for the fourth concept, further fueling curiosity about the album's theme.

The newly released images showcase members Gyehun, Maru, Donghwa, Jewang, Minje, Kju, and Donghyun exuding youthful charm. Posed with instruments like guitars, microphones, and keyboards, their visuals evoke the atmosphere of a high school band, resembling characters straight out of a romance comic, captivating fans with their pure appeal.

The new album, 'My First Flip,' features all members participating in the songwriting and composition. It includes a total of seven tracks, led by the title song 'First Song I Sing,' along with 'Band-Aid,' 'Singularity,' 'Again, Here,' 'Gas On It,' '404: Not Found,' and 'It's a Secret I Had a Nightmare.' The album title itself is a play on their previous release 'My First Love,' replacing 'love' with 'Flip,' to narrate a story of a slightly clumsy, fumbled first love.

KickFlip will officially release 'My First Flip' and its title track 'First Song I Sing' on September 22nd at 6 PM KST. They will follow up with a comeback show on Mnet M2 at 7 PM KST and a showcase at 8 PM KST, officially kicking off their promotional activities.

KickFlip is a 7-member boy group under JYP Entertainment, debuting in March 2023. Their group name, 'KickFlip,' is inspired by a skateboarding trick, symbolizing their ambition to constantly try new things. The members are actively involved in music production, including lyric writing, composition, and arrangement, showcasing their talent as artists.
