VIBE's Yoon Min-soo Lists Sangam-dong Building for Sale Amid Personal News

Yoon Min-soo, a prominent member of the K-pop group VIBE, has reportedly put his building located in Sangam-dong, Seoul, on the market. The property, purchased in June 2022 for approximately 4 billion KRW, is now listed for sale, according to a report by Maeil Business Newspaper on the 16th.

The six-story commercial building, acquired under the name of Yoon's corporate entity, was bought in partnership with Singaporean businessman David Yong. The initial purchase price was around 90 million KRW per pyeong (approximately 3.3 square meters), and the current asking price is set at 4.5 billion KRW, equating to about 100 million KRW per pyeong.

While a potential profit can be observed on paper, financial analysts suggest that the actual return might not be substantial after accounting for loan interest and taxes. The building, constructed in 2018, boasts a prime location within a 5-minute walk from Digital Media City Station, a hub for subway lines 6, Airport Railroad, and Gyeongui-Jungang Line.

Its proximity to major broadcasting stations in Sangam-dong ensures high foot traffic, and the area's designation as a 'K-Culture Business District' fuels development expectations. Notably, buildings owned by other celebrities like Lee Soo-geun and Song Eun-yi are also situated nearby.

This property news comes shortly after Yoon Min-soo announced his divorce from his wife of 18 years in May. His ex-wife had shared a heartfelt message on social media about their decision to part ways while remaining supportive co-parents to their son, Yoon Hoo. Yoon himself appeared on the SBS show 'My Little Old Boy', disclosing that the divorce was finalized only recently and that he continues to maintain contact with his ex-wife, given their long history together.

Yoon Min-soo is widely recognized not only for his music career with VIBE but also as the father of Yoon Hoo, a public figure from the popular show 'Dad! Where Are We Going?'. His recent divorce has garnered significant public attention and sympathy.
