Comedienne Kim Young-hee Rushed to ER Amid Severe Allergic Reaction

Comedienne Kim Young-hee has been taken to the emergency room due to a severe allergic reaction, sparking concern among fans.

On the 17th, Kim shared her sudden health distress via her social media, posting two photos illustrating her condition.

The images revealed a drastically swollen face, a stark contrast to her usual appearance, shocking her followers. Her entire face was red and puffed up, with blisters forming on her jawline.

She described the experience as "unprecedented pain," stating, "My whole face is swollen, hot, and itchy." She further elaborated on the severity, noting, "It's so stiffly swollen that I can't even smile or pinch my cheeks."

Another picture showed her arm in the emergency room, receiving an IV drip. Having been administered an allergy shot and prescribed medication, she expressed her earnest wish for a speedy recovery with a simple plea: "Please."

Kim Young-hee tied the knot in January 2021 with Yoon Seung-yeol, a former baseball player ten years her junior. The couple welcomed their daughter in September of the following year. She is currently balancing her active broadcasting career with raising her child.
