30th Busan International Film Festival Kicks Off in Grand Style, Lee Byung-hun Hosts Opening Ceremony

The 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) commenced with a dazzling opening ceremony on October 17th at the Busan Cinema Center.

This year's festival has selected Park Chan-wook's new film ‘No Way Out’ as the opening movie, with lead actor Lee Byung-hun taking the stage as the master of ceremonies. Lee Byung-hun graced the event by hosting the ceremony and engaging with the audience.

The festival will showcase a diverse lineup of 328 films from 64 countries until October 26th. Notably, the closing film will be the Grand Prize winner from the competition section, generating considerable anticipation.

Actress Keum Sae-rok also walked the red carpet, celebrating the festival's commencement.

Lee Byung-hun is a highly acclaimed actor representing South Korea, known for his versatile performances across various genres. His filmography includes numerous masterpieces such as 'A Bittersweet Life', 'Masquerade', and 'Inside Men'. He is currently preparing for his next project, maintaining an active career.
