Actor Lee Jun-young has shared his candid thoughts and surprising feelings regarding the widely discussed 'name mix-up' broadcast accident that occurred at the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards. The incident involved him mistakenly being called to the stage instead of actor Lee Joon-hyuk.

During the awards ceremony held in July, when Lee Joon-hyuk was announced as the winner of the Global Star Award, Lee Jun-young unexpectedly took the stage. Although host Jun Hyun-moo swiftly corrected the situation by stating, "It's Lee Joon-hyuk. Oh, Lee Jun-young has come up," some netizens criticized his reaction, deeming it mocking and lacking an apology, leading to an influx of demands for an apology on Jun Hyun-moo's social media.

However, Lee Jun-young himself appeared on the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy' on the 21st and confessed his true emotions. He revealed, "After coming down from the stage, I apologized profusely to Jun-hyuk hyung. I felt so embarrassed that I wanted to go home before the second part began." He added, "Seniors I had never met before consoled me, saying it was funny."

Despite the initial embarrassment, Lee Jun-young humorously admitted, "What was even more embarrassing was when senior Shin Dong-yup brought it up again during the second part. When I got home and was washing up, I felt a bit resentful, thinking, 'Why did he have to mention it again…?'" Shin Dong-yup responded by asking, "How much did you resent him then?" To which Lee Jun-young replied, "I was grateful when people recognized me as 'Lee Jun-young' at the airport the next day."

Ultimately, by highlighting Shin Dong-yup's comments as more 'resentful' than Jun Hyun-moo's actions, Lee Jun-young presented a situation where the atmosphere at the event was more heartwarming than the online discourse suggested.

Lee Jun-young debuted in 2017 with the film 'The VP' and has also been active as a member of the idol group UNB. He has showcased impressive acting in various works including the dramas 'Rookie Cops', 'Drama Special - Let Die', and 'The Interest of Love'. Recently, he received critical acclaim for his compelling action performance in the Netflix series 'Dog Days'.
