Nam Gyu-ri Shares Her Life in the Mountains, Expresses Desire for SG Wannabe Reunion

Singer and actress Nam Gyu-ri has recently shared an update on her life, capturing the attention of her fans. In a pictorial for the October issue of @star1 magazine, Nam Gyu-ri showcased her enduring aura as a pictorial goddess after a long hiatus. In a subsequent interview, Nam Gyu-ri candidly discussed the hiatus in her singing career after leaving SG Wannabe. "When I left SG Wannabe, I thought I would never sing again," she confessed. "Although we were active for a short but intense period, I didn't even get the chance to perform on stage again. The thirst for music always remained in a corner of my heart." Her new song, 'Heartache,' released after a long wait of 14 years, is described as a culmination of her past experiences and genuine feelings.

When asked about a potential reunion for SG Wannabe's 20th anniversary, she humorously replied, "Are you noticing that I'm publicly flirting?" She added, "Seeing other groups reunite makes me envious, and above all, I really want to stand on stage one more time for the fans."

Reflecting on past hurts and misunderstandings, she recalled, "Ignorance breeds courage; I could endure because I didn't know better. I don't want to go back to that time, but without that innocence, I wouldn't be who I am today."

Beyond the glamorous stage, she also revealed her simple daily life. "Living in a high-rise apartment didn't suit me. Now I live in the mountains, clearly feeling the changing seasons, and just taking a walk fills me with gratitude," she shared, describing her down-to-earth lifestyle.

Known for her mysterious image, she is affectionately called 'Communication King' and 'Fan Expert' among her fans. Regarding this, Nam Gyu-ri smiled and said, "Many people see me as mysterious, but I'm really not like that at all.
