JTBC's new Friday-Saturday series, 'Love Me,' is set to explore various facets of love through its compelling cast: Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, Lee Si-woo, Yoon Se-ah, Jang Ryul, and Dahyun of TWICE.

'Love Me' tells the story of a somewhat selfish, yet perhaps more ordinary family, whose members embark on their own journeys of love and growth. Seo Joon-kyung (Seo Hyun-jin), Seo Jin-ho (Yoo Jae-myung), and Seo Jun-seo (Lee Si-woo), grappling with loss and loneliness after losing family, encounter Jin Ja-young (Yoon Se-ah), Joo Do-hyun (Jang Ryul), and Ji Hye-on (Dahyun). Through their relationships and lives, they face love, revealing different faces of affection based on how they accept and choose these emotions.

Seo Hyun-jin, who plays 'Joon-kyung,' an obstinate OB/GYN, defines love as 'a matter of choice and trust.' Despite her difficulty in opening up emotionally after her mother's accident seven years ago, Joon-kyung's approach to love involves not running away from chosen feelings but believing in them. Yoo Jae-myung explains Jin-ho's love as 'starting from a place of apology, but through meeting Ja-young, he realizes he is worthy of being loved.' He adds, 'Just as we live each day despite mistakes and regrets, Jin-ho's love is also an ongoing process of loving each day.'

For 'Jun-seo,' portrayed by Lee Si-woo, love is 'friendship.' Similar to his decade-long friendship with Hye-on, his way of loving involves accepting someone as they are. Yoon Se-ah describes 'Ja-young's' love as 'giving one's all to exist for each other, and doing so with utmost effort.' Jang Ryul elaborates on 'Do-hyun's' love, stating, 'He wants to be someone who greets you with warm food and a cozy space after work, someone who accepts all your emotions, both joy and sorrow, without hiding them. He wishes to offer Joon-kyung the feeling of a warm home and family, and to dream of the same happiness and share life's energy.'

Dahyun interprets 'Hye-on's' love as 'steadfastly staying by someone's side with a warm heart.' Like Hye-on, who has supported her friend Jun-seo since kindergarten, her love is characterized not by grand emotions but by the unwavering heart that waits in the same spot during moments of hurt, disappointment, or wavering.

The production team shared that 'Love Me' aims not to provide a single answer to 'What is love?' but rather to depict the process of characters learning about love in their respective circumstances. The series premieres on JTBC on the 19th at 8:50 PM, with a back-to-back broadcast of episodes 1 and 2.

Fans are expressing high anticipation for the star-studded cast, including Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, and Dahyun. Netizens are particularly excited about Dahyun's acting debut, commenting, 'Looking forward to seeing Dahyun as character Hye-on,' and 'Curious to see what new sides she'll show.'
