Renowned screenwriter Kim Eun-sook and CEO Yoon Ha-rim of HwaDam Entertainment have generously donated bottled water, valued at approximately 20 million Korean Won, to the city of Gangneung, which is currently suffering from a severe drought.

The donation aims to alleviate the hardship faced by Gangneung residents struggling to secure daily water supply due to the prolonged dry spell. Native to Gangneung, Kim Eun-sook expressed her empathy, stating, "I decided to make this donation to offer even a small measure of help to those facing difficulties." She added, "I sincerely hope for the situation to improve with the swift arrival of much-needed rain."

Both Kim and Yoon are members of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a group of high-value donors supporting the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. They have a consistent history of charitable giving, having participated in relief efforts for floods, wildfires, and earthquakes since their first donation following the Sewol ferry disaster in 2014.

Kim Eun-sook is a celebrated screenwriter known for hit dramas such as 'Lovers in Paris,' 'Secret Garden,' 'Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' and 'The King: Eternal Monarch.' Her works are widely loved for their intricate emotional depth and compelling narratives. She is set to captivate audiences once again with her upcoming project, 'All That We Wish For.'
