Lee Young-ae Reveals Daughter's K-Pop Aspirations: "She's Auditioning..."

Actress Lee Young-ae has opened up about her daughter's interest in becoming a K-pop idol during a recent broadcast.

Appearing as a guest on the YouTube channel 'Naked Bros' (Jjanhan Hyung) alongside actors Kim Young-kwang and Park Yong-woo on the 8th, Lee Young-ae shared candid thoughts on parenting.

When discussing her twin children, who are now middle schoolers, Lee Young-ae revealed that her daughter is very interested in the idol world and is actively participating in auditions. She expressed her approach of letting her daughter explore this path for now, humorously stating, "If she can't make it later, she might blame me, saying she couldn't because of her mom." Lee Young-ae also reflected on the perceived glamour versus the reality of her own career, noting, "She sees the flashy side but doesn't know how hard I worked to get here."

Lee Young-ae debuted as a commercial model in 1990 before transitioning into acting.

She married businessman Jung Ho-young in 2009 and is a mother to fraternal twins, a boy and a girl.
