Ok Joo-hyun's Agency Admits to Administrative Oversight: 'Not Intentional, Will Rectify Immediately'
TOI Entertainment, the agency led by musical actress and former Fin.K.L member Ok Joo-hyun, has acknowledged that it failed to complete the necessary registration for operating as a popular culture arts planning business in a timely manner.
In an official statement released on the 10th, the agency admitted, "It is clear negligence on our part that we did not complete the registration for operating as a popular culture arts planning business on time. However, we state that we never intentionally evaded legal procedures or operated the company illegally."
They further explained that while preparations and online training for registration were completed three years ago at the company's inception, an omission occurred during the subsequent administrative process. The agency is currently investigating the cause and will proceed with immediate corrective measures to finalize the registration. They also refuted claims of being unreachable, stating that delays in response were due to performance schedules, not an attempt to avoid communication.
Ok Joo-hyun debuted in 1998 as the main vocalist of the girl group Fin.K.L., achieving immense popularity. She successfully transitioned to a career in musical theater, earning critical acclaim for her lead roles in numerous productions like 'Cats', 'Elizabeth', and 'Rebecca'. Currently, she manages her own agency, TOI Entertainment, and actively nurtures emerging talent.
