Actress Shim Eun-woo Feels the Yoga Craze Sparked by Lee Hyori: '11 Years of Practice, 8 Years of Teaching'

Actress Shim Eun-woo has shared her personal feelings about the recent 'yoga craze' that has been amplified by Lee Hyori's opening of a yoga studio.

Posting on her personal social media on the 11th, Shim Eun-woo expressed her delight, stating, "The keywords 'yoga' are shining brightly on social media and internet news these days! It's truly joyful to see so many yoga stories! (Thanks to the positive influence of Anandaa teacher)".

Reflecting on the significance of yoga in her life, she remarked, "Looking back at the meaning and scale yoga holds for me, through my own experiences, yoga has become a way of life, a weapon, and now, an integral part of my existence." She further detailed her extensive experience, noting, "11 years of yoga practice, 8 years of teaching. There were times I focused intensely and times I was more relaxed, but I've continued without letting go, following the flow. While balancing my acting career, I've guided many people's yoga practice in various spaces and forms."

Shim Eun-woo added, "Yoga has always helped me, both in good times and difficult ones, allowing me to reflect on my shortcomings and mature. I can hardly imagine who I would be now if I hadn't known yoga. Discovering yoga and walking the path of a practitioner has been a great fortune." She concluded with a wish for everyone to embrace yoga soon.

Meanwhile, Shim Eun-woo was embroiled in a school violence controversy in 2021 following an exposé by a former middle school classmate, but she clarified in March of this year that evidence confirmed she was not a perpetrator of school violence, thus clearing her name.
