Actor Jang Hyuk has unveiled his 30-year friendship with the iconic K-pop group god, sharing anecdotes about coaching the members, particularly Yoon Kye-sang, in acting.

Appearing on the MBN variety show 'Gabojago Season 5' on the 13th, Jang Hyuk spoke about his special bond with his close friend, god's Park Joon-hyung. The two stars shared a past as trainees under the same agency, enduring rigorous training and living together.

While Park Joon-hyung reminisced about his drastic weight loss during their trainee days, Jang Hyuk added, "Everyone was starving back then, so we were all losing weight," to everyone's surprise. Jang Hyuk then touched upon his acting coaching experiences, stating, "I learned how to act as a lead," and emphasized the importance of 'listening' in acting, much like learning a language.

Notably, Jang Hyuk revealed he had passed on acting tips to god member Yoon Kye-sang. When Hong Hyun-hee playfully asked if Jang Hyuk was responsible for creating Yoon Kye-sang's character 'Jang Chen,' Jang Hyuk modestly replied, "I didn't create it directly, but I might have helped a bit."

Jang Hyuk debuted in the 1996 film 'Volcano High' and is a seasoned actor.

He has showcased a wide acting range in numerous hit dramas like 'The Slave Hunters' and the 'Voice' series.

Recently, he has been actively promoting his work, including the movie 'The Moon' and the drama 'Family X Family'.
