Comedian Kim Min-kyung Drives Record Sales as MC at Disability Products Expo

Comedian Kim Min-kyung is drawing attention for her significant contribution to the successful conclusion of the 2nd Severe Disability Production Products Expo.

Taking on the role of MC for the closing ceremony on the 10th, Kim Min-kyung energized the event with her characteristic vibrant hosting and approachable demeanor. She expressed her MC aspirations by stating, 'I will act as the public's proxy in exploring their curiosity about disability production products,' and lived up to her words by personally visiting all 105 booths.

In a post-event interview, she shared her impressions: 'Honestly, I was very surprised. I realized the meaning of my words – that these products can appeal to the public if only prejudice disappears. I was doubly surprised by the diverse products, to the point where I didn't consciously register that the vendors were individuals with disabilities. The tasting corners were also prepared, and once I tasted them, I couldn't help but buy them. It was rewarding to see so many excellent products.'

Kim Min-kyung not only facilitated the awards ceremony for top-selling booths but also engaged with singer Kim Tae-hyung and the rookie group S2IT, keeping the atmosphere lively throughout. Thanks to her active participation, the expo achieved its highest sales figures to date and attracted approximately 3,000 visitors, concluding successfully.
