Actor Song Joong-ki has seized the hearts of viewers with his deepened emotional performance in the JTBC Friday series 'My Youth'.

In the 5th and 6th episodes aired on the 19th, Song Joong-ki, playing the role of 'Seon-woo-hae', masterfully depicted subtle emotional shifts. Following his kiss with Seong Je-yeon (played by Chun Woo-hee), Seon-woo-hae, who had been suppressing his feelings, gradually began to open his heart and change. Song Joong-ki completed this transformation with his signature restrained acting and delicate expressiveness.

Particularly, Seon-woo-hae's narration in the 5th episode, "I always pretend to lose and then somehow manage to live for a few days after falling," was enhanced by Song Joong-ki's poignant voice and sensibility, deepening the drama's atmosphere. As he has consistently shown an irresistible charm that makes people fall in love with his characters in every project, Song Joong-ki's understated yet sincere acting in 'My Youth' convincingly led Seon-woo-hae's emotional arc, thereby increasing viewer immersion.

The emotional storyline, built up calmly without any sensational elements, coupled with Song Joong-ki's performance, which offers more excitement precisely because of its restraint, has amplified anticipation for the remaining episodes. 'My Youth' airs every Friday at 8:50 PM, with two consecutive episodes.

Song Joong-ki made his acting debut in the 2008 film 'A Frozen Flower', marking his first step as an actor. He has garnered love from fans both domestically and internationally by showcasing a wide acting spectrum in various works such as the dramas 'Vincenzo' and 'Reborn Rich'. Recently, he received much congratulation following the news of his marriage to his British girlfriend and the birth of their son.
