
Heo Nam-joon Recalls Chae Soo-bin's High School Fame as 'Pretty Neighbor School Star'
Actor Heo Nam-joon has sparked interest by revealing his past connection with actress Chae Soo-bin.
A video titled 'First Love, What Is That?' was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Yoo Yeon-seok's Weekend Drama' on the 20th. Appearing as a guest, Heo Nam-joon shared intriguing stories with host Yoo Yeon-seok.
Yoo Yeon-seok inquired about Heo Nam-joon's school days, asking, "Weren't you in the Gwacheon area during high school?" He continued, "Did you know of each other's existence back then?" Heo Nam-joon, Chae Soo-bin, and Yoo Yeon-seok previously worked together in the MBC drama 'The Call Was Given' which concluded in January, maintaining a close friendship.
Recalling that time, Heo Nam-joon commented on Chae Soo-bin, "She was from a neighboring school and was famous for being very pretty." He added, "Her reputation even spread to our school."
Upon hearing this, Yoo Yeon-seok asked about his own high school experiences. Heo Nam-joon responded, "It wasn't to the point of liking her." He explained, "I have a very competitive nature and tend to avoid contests. Once I start something, my competitive spirit is so strong that I pull out before anything happens."
