Actor Heo Nam-jun has shared his thoughts on appearing in singer IU's latest music video.

Appearing as a guest on the YouTube channel 'Weekend Drama with Yoo Yeon-seok' on the 20th, Heo Nam-jun expressed his overwhelming emotions about taking on the male lead role in IU's new song 'Never Ending Story' music video, calling it "my biggest filmography yet."

Recalling the moment he received the offer, he humorously stated, "I thought, 'I've made it,' just knowing IU knew of my existence." He revealed that as a longtime fan of IU since his youth, "I was trembling as I greeted her and couldn't even speak properly. It felt like a dream."

Despite being the same age, Heo Nam-jun admitted he couldn't approach IU comfortably, explaining, "She didn't feel like a friend. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable in any way, so I thought four times before speaking to her."

He further shared, "I received the most calls in my life. Even more congratulatory messages than when I won a rookie award, all saying 'You've succeeded.'" He added that his parents were also extremely happy, bringing warmth to the story.

Heo Nam-jun debuted in 2018 with the play 'All Soldiers Are Pitiful' and has since steadily built his acting career through various dramas and films. He began gaining recognition after a minor role in the 2022 drama 'Mr. Sunshine.' He has also appeared in numerous independent films, expanding his acting spectrum.
