Yoon Jung-soo Tears Up Recalling Late Mother, Cherishes Her Clothes
Comedian Yoon Jung-soo emotionally recalled his mother, who passed away 10 years ago, on the TV CHOSUN entertainment show 'Joseon's Lover.'
During the recording, Yoon Jung-soo unveiled his mother's belongings kept in a closet. He shared, "These are the clothes my mother used to wear. I intended to burn one set each year during ancestral rites."
He further explained his reason for preserving the clothes like new, even after a decade: "I felt they were too imbued with my mother's essence and smelled like her, so I decided it wouldn't be right to burn them and kept them carefully."
A VCR segment featured photos of him with his mother and a story about his personal caregiving for her during her battle with dementia, deeply resonating with the show's MCs.
Approaching his marriage, Yoon Jung-soo responded to the production team's question about thinking of his mother by saying, "I tend to recall her when I do things we used to do together. I think of her especially when something good happens."
He expressed regret, stating, "I wish she were here now..." and added, "I think I'm a bit unexpressive in that regard, so I feel I couldn't do many fun things for her... I also feel sorry."
