The latest whereabouts of Seungri, former member of BIGBANG, who was expelled from the Korean entertainment industry as a key figure in the Burning Sun scandal, are becoming a hot topic.

Recently, a photo of Seungri with a jewelry businessman began circulating on online communities and social media. In the picture, Seungri appears to have gained weight compared to his idol days, with a noticeably fuller face and figure.

Reports indicate that the meeting with the businessman concluded well, as Seungri was seen smiling brightly and posing for the photo. Seungri, implicated as a central figure in the 2019 Burning Sun scandal, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for offenses including habitual gambling, prostitution, and embezzlement, and was released in February of last year.

Barred from domestic entertainment activities, Seungri has been focusing on his ventures overseas, and his recent sightings often make headlines. He was recently spotted having a meal with a woman at a restaurant in Songpa District, Seoul.

Following this, Seungri also appeared at a nightclub in Hangzhou, China. Local media reported his entrance accompanied by bodyguards, with numerous fans cheering him on. However, some Chinese media outlets criticized his appearances, viewing them as a blatant challenge to Chinese laws and morality.

Seungri debuted with the group BIGBANG in 2006 and achieved immense popularity, also engaging in solo music and variety show activities. After the Burning Sun scandal, he halted all entertainment activities and entered a period of reflection. He is currently expanding his business ventures primarily overseas, embarking on new challenges.
