Veteran singer Shin Seung-hun has revealed his feelings about returning with his 12th full-length album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES,' marking his first album in 10 years and celebrating his 35th debut anniversary.

At a press conference held on the afternoon of the 22nd at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam, Shin Seung-hun stated, "Rather than bringing back past glories, I wanted to show that I am a currently active artist through 11 new songs."

He shared his mixed feelings of excitement and anticipation as the album's release nears. He expressed a sense of apology for making fans wait, felt during a recent recording of 'Immortal Songs' where he was moved by their warm reception. He also noted a sense of reconnection after realizing how detached he had become, upon meeting junior artists.

Shin Seung-hun added, "I wanted to incorporate life stories that suit my age and that I couldn't address before," explaining, "I aimed to blend various emotions of life, not just love and farewells, but also friendship, friends, and mother, into the melodies."

The 12th full-length album, 'SINCERELY MELODIES,' is set to be released with all tracks unveiled at 6 PM on the 23rd.

Shin Seung-hun debuted in 1990 with his first album 'Shining in the Smile,' earning him the title 'Emperor of Ballads.' His music has been cherished for years due to his uniquely sweet vocal tone and delicate emotional expression. This new album is expected to be a meaningful project, reflecting on his journey so far and charting a path forward.
