TREASURE Takes on 'National Star Tour' in Donghae Ahead of Comeback

Global boy group TREASURE is set to appear on Mnet's idol festa special 'National Star Tour.' This program features top K-pop idol groups embarking on journeys across South Korea to offer local specialties and performances as a 'one-plus-one' package to residents, fostering regional growth. Previous seasons have seen successful collaborations with TOMORROW X TOGETHER, NCT DREAM, ZEROBASEONE, and MONSTA X.

The fifth episode, airing tonight (June 9th, Tuesday) at 10 PM KST, will follow TREASURE's adventure in Donghae City, Gangwon Province. The appearance of TREASURE—comprising Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong-woo, and So Jung-hwan—who have just returned from overseas schedules, is expected to add a sense of urgency to the broadcast.

Facing a tight deadline of just 20 hours, the members transform into 'One-Day Donghae Rice Ambassadors.' Their mission is to personally sell Donghae's local specialty, rice, and deliver a finale performance. Despite initial surprise at the sudden mission right after their return, they quickly dive into a real struggle to gather an audience and showcase their passion.

Even with their comeback just a day away, the TREASURE members dedicate themselves to this challenging mission, running around Donghae to promote and sell rice. They are set to create an unprecedented spectacle by selling rice with maximum energy and holding a private concert for Donghae citizens. This meaningful encounter is anticipated not only for the local residents but also for TREASURE Makers (their fandom) who gather from across the country.
