Veteran actress Kim Mi-kyung has shared her thoughts on the conclusion of the tvN drama 'For the Love of My First'.

Kim Mi-kyung portrayed Jeong Mun-hee, a retired hospital professor, bringing warmth and realism to the series. She expressed gratitude for being part of a story where individuals with deep scars find healing and hope in each other.

"Even though I played Mun-hee, a character with significant pain, as a viewer, I eagerly awaited each episode, not wanting to miss a single scene or line," Kim Mi-kyung stated. "I am thankful to everyone who created this narrative and honored to have participated. I also extend my sincere thanks to the viewers who watched until the end."

In the drama, Jeong Mun-hee provided a sense of stability as a doctor caring for Hyo-ri (played by Choi Yoon-ji). Simultaneously, she evoked deep emotion by revealing her profound sense of loss and emptiness while confronting mementos of her late daughter. Even as her memories faded due to delirium, she offered comfort to Hyo-ri and Ji-an (played by Yeom Jung-ah), conveying the message of living in the present. When Ji-an wavered before Hyo-ri's surgery, Kim Mi-kyung's character became a steadfast pillar of support, declaring, "Hyo-ri's mother has me." Her relatable charm and infectious chemistry with the villagers also added to the drama's immersive quality.

Looking ahead, Kim Mi-kyung will appear in the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Let's Go to the Moon'. Following her impactful performance in 'For the Love of My First,' she is set to showcase a different side of her acting prowess as Lee Jeong-im, a resilient village bus driver. The final episode of tvN's 'For the Love of My First' airs today, the 9th, at 8:50 PM, and MBC's 'Let's Go to the Moon' premieres on the 19th at 9:50 PM.

Kim Mi-kyung is a highly respected actress known for her versatile portrayals of maternal and grandmotherly figures, earning widespread affection from audiences. Her naturalistic acting style and nuanced emotional performances add significant depth to her projects, establishing her as a consistently reliable performer.
