Actor Song Seung-heon is captivating audiences with his versatile performance in the Genie TV original drama 'My Star, My Golden Child,' seamlessly transitioning between his roles as a detective and a manager.

In the 7th episode, aired on the 8th, Song Seung-heon portrayed 'Dok-go Cheol,' a detective aiming to return to the violent crimes unit, who goes undercover as the manager for star Bong Cheong-ja (played by Uhm Jung-hwa).

Initially, Dok-go Cheol expressed concern over Bong Cheong-ja's potentially risky career moves. However, swayed by her apparent trust in him, he began to unravel the connection between Joo Seung-pil and Tuwon Entertainment, the company that signed Bong Cheong-ja. When Bong Cheong-ja expressed her frustration, he comforted her by saying, "Protecting my actress is a manager's job. Hold your head high and walk with confidence." He further demonstrated his loyalty during a crisis involving an article about her past identity, grabbing her hand and running together when he said, "When I count to three, we run!" leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

Song Seung-heon has firmly established himself as an indispensable figure at the heart of the drama.
