Singer Lyn Moved to Tears by Shin Seung-tae's Emotional Performance on '2025 Korea-Japan Singer Battle'

During the broadcast of MBN's '2025 Korea-Japan Singer Battle' on the evening of the 9th, singer Lyn was unable to hold back her tears while watching Shin Seung-tae's deeply emotional stage. Shin Seung-tae, representing the Korean team, delivered a heartfelt rendition of 'Nocturne' during the 1-on-1 impromptu selection round. Lyn, observing his performance, began to cry as soon as the song started and continued throughout.

When MC Shin Dong-yeop inquired about the reason for her tears, Lyn shared, "The lyrics, 'Don't apologize, it's not your fault,' deeply resonated with me." She further elaborated, "Faces of people I felt sorry towards flashed through my mind. Shin Seung-tae's song felt like he was comforting me, and my emotions overflowed."

Shin Seung-tae ultimately secured a significant victory against Japan's Jjunii, with a score of 128 to 72, showcasing a powerful performance that moved both the audience and fellow contestants.
