KBS Joy's 'Ghost Story Notebook' Promises Chills with Real-Life Horror Tales
Get ready for a night of spine-chilling tales as KBS Joy's new program, 'Ghost Story Notebook,' is set to premiere on the 10th at 11:40 PM. This show will delve into sealed stories, bringing vivid horror and chilling true accounts to viewers. Host Cho Chung-hyun will kick off the suspense by sharing a peculiar dream he experienced after the first recording.
The studio atmosphere took a sudden turn when a traditional culture artist burst into laughter mid-story, causing a moment of frozen silence. This led to a rare request from Lee Sang-min, who asked for 'pre-notification of reactions' for the first time on broadcast. The episode will also feature a survivor's account related to a bizarre incident captured on a home security camera. A wife, suspicious of her husband's nightly disappearances after a funeral, checks her home camera, only to be horrified. Ha Yu-bi expressed her newfound fear, stating, "I usually watch my children via home cameras, but now I'm scared to turn them on."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-min, after learning about 'Chukshin' (a type of spirit) from the traditional culture artist, vowed to carefully listen to their advice, anticipating an increase in 'rituals' he'll need to perform at home with each broadcast. The program will also revisit stories of a closet ghost from nightmares, a mysterious woman in red shoes seen in a mirror, and an unknown entity in a valley. Additionally, Cho Chung-hyun's past KBS 'Legend of Hometown' episode, 'Myogokseong,' depicting a cat's curse, will be re-examined.
Cho Chung-hyun began his career as a KBS announcer after passing the 38th open recruitment. He gained recognition through various programs like 'Entertainment Relay' and 'Vivid Information,' and also hosted the 'People and People' segment of 'Vivid Today,' sharing heartwarming local stories. He continues to engage with fans through active broadcasting activities even after his marriage.
