Wonder Girls Reunite on 'The Return of Superman' for 20th Anniversary!

K-pop legends Wonder Girls made a heartwarming appearance on KBS2's 'The Return of Superman,' celebrating their 20th anniversary. Sunye, Yubin, Sohee, and Hyerim, along with Hyerim's family, gathered for a special episode.

Hyerim, recently appointed as a Seoul Baby Ambassador at just 18 months of age with her youngest child, proudly shared the news. Dressed in traditional Hanbok, the Hyerim family's appearance drew significant attention, highlighting their unique cultural presence.

Hyerim expressed her commitment to supporting birth rate initiatives, motivated by her observations of local childcare shortages. Her husband, Shin Min-cheol, prepared a festive welcome for the members, decorating their home with a red carpet and banners. The studio buzzed with excitement as Sunye, Yubin, and Sohee arrived, marking a special reunion for the iconic group.

Fans were particularly struck by Sohee's timeless beauty, reminiscent of her 'Mandu Sohee' days. Hyerim's son, Siwoo, was also captivated by Sohee, leading to a playful moment where Hyerim noted his shyness around the former member. Sunye affectionately commented on the children's accurate judgment.

During their visit, Hyerim arranged a special outing to the former JYP Entertainment building in Cheongdam-dong, a place filled with shared memories. Sunye and Hyerim reminisced about their youthful days spent practicing and creating memories, both joyful and bittersweet. The members also discussed family plans, with lighthearted banter about Hyerim's desire for a son and sister, and Sunye teasing her about potential future additions.

Hyerim joined the iconic girl group Wonder Girls in 2010 and has since pursued a career as a singer-songwriter and actress.

She married Taekwondo athlete Shin Min-cheol in 2020 and is a mother to a son and a daughter.

Recently, she has been actively involved as an ambassador promoting initiatives to address South Korea's low birth rate.
